Ms Pauline Lim
O-LEVEL CHEMISTRY
Pauline Lim is an ex-HOD of Science who holds an MSc degree from NUS and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Institute of Education, Singapore. She believes that a good grade in Chemistry cannot be attained overnight, but rather through sustained effort that is applied correctly. Excelling in Chemistry begins with developing a clear understanding of scientific concepts, followed by the application of the knowledge acquired . Thereafter, understanding, remembering and being able to apply concepts are reinforced by Practice! Practice! Practice !
Pauline conducts small group lessons for Secondary 3 and 4 students to prepare them for the GCE O-level Chemistry exam. She also has separate classes for Integrated Programme (IP) students who generally aspire to continue studying Chemistry at the Junior College level. Classes are kept small to facilitate effective learning, and an emphasis is placed on making learning enjoyable and fulfilling by building students’ confidence to tackle examination questions.
